We have great know-how in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Enterprise Resource Planning Software (Odoo) and IT Management Systems.

Our Geospatial Solutions department is specialised in Open Source based GIS systems. We help our customers make the most of geospatial data and stay one step ahead in their most critical missions.

Our team is present in Switzerland, France and Germany. For our growing offices in Olten and Zurich, we are recruiting an IT Project Manager to help us meet our customer’s expectations in projects based on geospatial OSS.

Your day as an IT Project Manager

You have full responsibility for a portfolio of customer projects in the german-speaking part of Switzerland and manage the lifecycle of these projects:

You take charge of projects from the pre-sales phase through to production.
You coordinate project design (customer requirements, functional specifications, work packages, deliverables, acceptance criteria, etc.).
You take part in planning and leading the project team.
Working with the team leads, you coordinate internal resources to deliver projects on time.
You anticipate risks and propose solutions to obstacles encountered.
You communicate on project progress (quality/costs/deadlines) and ensure reporting.
You bill our customers for projects and guarantee their profitability.
You organise regular retrospectives on the different phases of projects.
You take part in drawing up responses to calls for tender.

Your profile

Your essential skills to succeed in this role

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geomatics, Informatics, or equivalent.
You are familiar with the Open Source world or have a strong interest in it.
You have practical experience of data infrastructures, including the challenges involved in configuration and deployment.
You have several years project management experience (3 years or more).
You have strong written and oral communication skills, and are able to federate, lead and structure management discussions.
You speak German fluently and have a good level of English.
You have a valid work permit for Switzerland.

The icing on the cake

If you also recognize yourself in the following, it will be a big plus:

You have project management relevant certifications such as Scrum or Hermes.
You have experience with the OSGeo Software stack, such as GeoServer, GeoNetwork, etc.
You have experience with Atlassian suite tools: Jira and Confluence.
You speak french.
